Opening a pack of Topps cards still takes me back to being a kid. The sound of the wrapper and the excitement of seeing who was inside remind me of sorting cards into teams, trading with friends and hoping to find my favourite players.

Finding a player I loved mattered more than getting a rare or valuable card. It was about my connection to football and the excitement of collecting. Even now, collections like Match Attax and Topps Now bring back memories of players I admired and matches I watched.

That is what makes Topps special to me. The designs and collections have changed, but the feeling has stayed familiar. Every card can hold a memory, and opening a pack reminds me why I enjoyed collecting in the first place. It is something I do not think I will ever grow out of.
